Earlier this month we celebrated the start of a Missoma summer with taking five fashion editors to Ibiza. The only rule for everyone? Good vibes only.
Day 1
Hola Ibiza
We started the day prepped and set at the airport with our travel wallet and personalised phone cases from Not Another Bill. Then it was onto Hotel Petunia in Ibiza. Our guests were welcomed with lunch alongside our Founder, CEO & Creative Director, Marisa Hordern. After receiving their Missoma merch – hats, t-shirts, and of course jewellery – everyone was ready to put the out out in out of office, whether that was swimming laps in the pool or sipping a sangria or two.
Sound Off
We all needed some R&R which was why in the afternoon our editors met poolside, all kitted out in our Vuori activewear, before heading to a sound bath overlooking the stunning views of Es Vedra. After our dose of zen, we headed for a beautiful dinner at The Standard.
The wine and conversation flowed while our guests were served everything from guacamole and ikura with crunchy seeds to ribeye steak, with roasted peppers plus tortillas and salsas.
Day 2
Seas the Day
Following our breakfast at the hotel's restaurant La Mesa d'Es Vedrà, it was time for our highly anticipated boat trip from Ibiza's marina. We sipped on Mirabeau rose all day long, the most perfect wine for every occasion. On a boat it tastes even better (if we do say so ourselves).
Alongside topping up the rose, we made sure to keep our skin topped up with our favourite SPF, Sun Bum. Once we’d dived into the beautiful ocean roughly 1000 times, we headed to Juan y Andrea for a beach lunch of fresh burrata, anchovies, seafood pasta, paella and fried squid. We had to finish, of course, with a fruit tray and champagne sorbet.
The Bracelet Bar Opens
Our editors chose from some of our classic bracelets, a mix of gemstones, beads and our intricate gold chains to create their ultimate summer arm stack.
Sangria Jugs Over Clubs
While some might see Ibiza as the clubbing capital, our final evening was a sophisticated and intimate dinner at La Mirada on the rooftop terrace.
A little shout out to the food (because, always) — we dined on boquerón & anchovies, smoked mackerel, roasted leeks & white garlic, scallops & saffron, toro & tomato, steak tartare, finished with yuzu & coco.
Then it was time for drinks, conversation, and getting to know each other even more.
Day 3
Saying Adiós
Before sadly departing, we held a goodbye breakfast at La Mesa d'Es Vedrà – a wonderful end to such an incredible trip. We can’t wait for our next #MissomaOnTheMove event, just keep your eyes peeled.
The Missoma Club
It wouldn’t have been such an amazing vacation without our unbeatable merch – from boarding passes, to the Missoma Times newspaper, plus hats and tees we’ll be wearing forever more.
A big thank you to Gigi & Oliver for the best personalised caps, Desmond & Dempsey for our linen personalised pyjamas helping us have the best nights sleep, Rae Feather for the perfect beach day bags, and 111 Skin for helping our skin stay glowing throughout the trip. Rebecca Udall was our go-to for creating the perfect table scaping for each breakfast, lunch and dinner.
