RESPONSIBLY MADE

Our goal by Earth Day 2023 is to be Code of Practice certified – the same level as our six factories.
This RJC Standard defines responsible, ethical, human rights, social, and environmental practices for our industry.

Our Factory Partners

All of our pieces are handmade in India and Thailand, with each Responsible Jewellery Council certified factory carefully handpicked for their highly-skilled artisanship by our founder and creative director, Marisa Hordern.

Each artisan is a master in their own intricate craft – from wax modeling and casting, to gemstone cutting and plating – using expertise passed down over generations.

All of our factories are audited every one to three years. The audits are conducted by independent auditing bodies to standards such as the RJC code of practice and the Ethical Trade Initiative (ETI) base code.

Members of the Responsible Jewellery Council

We're a member of the jewellery industry's best practice body. In an industry that relies heavily on raw material mining, the Responsible Jewellery Council pushes every link in the supply chain to continuously improve, working with brands but also factories, refineries and all the way back to mines.

The ultimate goal of the RJC is to do better for the workers and the environment – making it a member's club we certainly want to be part of. Our goal is to be Code of Practice certified by Earth Day 2023.

As a member, we are obliged to adhere to the RJC Code of Practice (COP) which means we need to follow their provisions, such as:

  1. 01 Protect the health and safety of both people and environments
  2. 02 Comply with international labour conventions
  3. 03 Ensure responsible working conditions.
